Your PSU seems like a decent one, but they do go bad and it is worth swapping out and seeing if that fixes your issue. That’s a bad issue that has already caused me a lot of time and nerves. I also ran the 3DMark06 test without a problem (see my scores at http://3dmark.com/3dm06/15163549). The circumstances under which system freezes occur are diverse.
