I was at the point of smashing the whole lot into the trash, but this has saved me. Any ideas? To reconnect the device to your computer, press and hold the Connect button on the underside of the device for a few seconds. Verify that the keyboard is connected by pressing the caps lock key. Cleaned (Onyx), restarted, and restored the mini with no luck. Re-pairing it with macbook pro makes me conclude that there does not seem to be problems with (fresh) batteries, but something else is preventing it from pairing with ipad.
