So if I am understanding you correctly, I can go into the BIOS and change it so it doesn't boot to safe mode automatically? I disconnected my hd and ran the boot disc and was able to launch beyond the point where the system was getting hung up.It sucks that this will cost me, but Everything is connected and hooked up properly. Just did a fresh install of Windows 7 and didn't even lose my files. You need to give them the way out in addition to the way in. If your Windows 7 Start menu doesn’t have the Run option showing, hold down the Windows key on your keyboard and press the R key. Hope this helps.
