In my case I'm dealing with a 7+ year old system that I can't find BIOS updates for but yours is only 2 years old, already set up for SATA. Have you got any other drives in the system besides the SSD? Much appreciated. What's involved in updating firmware of mobo and ssd with no operating system installed? The problem there is that there is no operating system and I can't boot to that CD.
